The Sacred Valley Private Tour, brings you to discover several interesting sites, in a place full of history and culture, The Sacred valley is located at the north towards Cusco, oriented from east to west, where a river runs, along this river there has being settled several villages, and towns; the elevation, and the location of this valley is amazing, where the weather is stable year around, the climate is also perfect for agriculture where locals obtain up to 2 crops a year, products like; giant white corn.

Our sacred valley tour includes the visit to:  Chinchero, a nice place at the highlands, with a colonial church, where locals assist to the mass celebration every Sunday, and it also has the best Sunday market. Ollantaytambo, a nice town at the west part of the sacred valley, the archaeological site is impressive, with water fountain, and huge rocks wall at the summit. The other site is Pisaq, this is located at the east part, the inca site is great and the market is also fantastic.

Dayli departures, from January to December

08:00 depart Cusco, and stop at TARAY VIEW POINT: a nice lookout from where you can take nice pictures. You will see the Taray village, the Urubamba river and corn fields, and reach Pisac town at 09:00 hrs.

PISAQ MARKET: Located in the main streets and the center square, there are hundreds of mini shops, where you can find; handmade textiles, drawings, ceramics, music instruments, silver workshops, and souvenirs.

PISAC ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK. Located at 20 minutes from the town, settled at a mountain from where you can have a magnificent view of the valley and villages nearby, there are many terraces, and sectors that are worth to walk up to each site. The “Kantu Pata”, this sector has dwellings, shrines, and spectacular location to see the nice terraces and the Pisaq old village. Approaching to the proper inca village, “Anta Chaka” here you will find nice water fountains, then the holes that are visible from here is the “Tankkana Marka” the largest cemetery from Inca times; after seeing this sites we will drive at 11:30 hrs towards Urubamba arriving at 12:30 hrs for lunch, then drive to Ollantaytambo arriving at 14:00 hrs.

OLLANTAYTAMBO: Ollantaytambo is the living inca town, which keeps the original Inca designed streets, and water channels, which are still running fresh water for irrigation, this site is visited only with private tour, while the religious sector is the sector is visited everyone; this site has terraces, shrines, and ncie view to the valley and mountains. From the group departs at 15:30 hrs towards Chinchero arriving at 16:30 hrs.

CHINCHERO: At an incredible location, with a view to the high plateau, where the new Cusco airport will be built, owns luckily the most spectacular church, which is fully covered with murals, painted during the XVII century, there are as well nice terraces with view to mountains, and a good opportunity for pictures. Finally the group will reach back Cusco city by 18:30 hrs.

We arrange this tour on backwards, It means we begin by Chinchero and he last site to visit during the day is Pisac.
